Hi captainbill47
mobs are meant to be for a crowd of low level critters, or a herd of large animals, a mob of 10th level fighters is not a mob. I think mobs attack like swarms i.e they attack every thing that they swamp doing an automatic 4d8 damage.
Mobs should not be given weapons as a mobs damage is from all types of weapons, kicking, biting stabbing crushing etc.
Here is a bit of a discussion on mobs that may be helpful http://www.enworld.org/forum/showthread.php?241067-How-does-the-Mob-template-work-in-3-5

Thank a lot. Ready for another Mob problem? 🙂 When giving the base creature a class like fighter, etc it gives me the option for Exotic Weapon Proficiency, but does not give options for Simple or Martial Weapon Proficiency, nor does it give options for the various Armor or Shild Proficiencies.
While I’m at it, giving the Mob’s base creature class levels also looks a little wonky to me. Ex: A single class only defaults to one level, no matter how many levels I choose. Changing it and recalculating does not help/work/fix this. Then, going back and adding a second class does seem to allow for the extra levels chosen. Natural weapons only get one attack, but putting a weapon in the base creatures hands gives it 5+ attacks. For example:
Human Warrior[1] Fighter[10] w/ Exotic Weap Prof and Bolas gives it a Full Attack line of:
Full Attack:+37/32/27/22/17/12/7
That kind of makes (logical) sense for a mob to have a bunch of attacks since it’s a mob and the base attack is large. But if I change it to a natural weapon like Pincer, I get:
Full Attack:+37
As a mob multiple pincers seems like it would work more like the weapons, but NOW the weapon is being treated as though it’s just a mob attack like crush and only giving 1 attack at a large bonus.
Ok, that’s enough nit picking for today. 🙂 Thanks again for a wonderful tool. Sorry I keep breaking it. 😛
When you “Recalculate” a mob using the D&D 3.5 NPC Generator, I’ve found that the Base Attack gets re-added with each recalculations instead of staying the same. Thanks for a great tool.
Hi JKeller360, Some of the new spells are from the Pathfinder Rule books. I haven’t split the spells up between Pathfinder and 3.5 yet
I’ll look into adding the magic item description to the attack (or maybe adding a small description)
Cheers

Me again, I tried to make a basic human with a flaming burst weapon (3.5 again). I noticed that it only seems to relay that information at the end of the long text description under magical weapons, any way I can apply that to the NPC/Creature’s attack? In other words can I have that be a bit more obvious when I’m glancing at an NPC’s attack statistics?
Hi. New user here. Just bought lifetime rights, one request I have right off the bat, please list page number and book for spells. Some of the spells in your 3.5 list I do not recognize. (I do own a decent selection yet I’ve never seen them)
Hi Paul,
Oops, thanks for the ‘heads up’ (it was the first time I’ve used it to create a Barbarian).
Thanks for all of your help as I realise you’re pretty damn busy managing this site.
PS- any chance of adding Aura as a spcial quality AND as a special atk (you only have Aura of Menace).
Cheers
Jeremy
Hi Angelus,
There is no way at present you can create your own prestige classes
Paul
Is there a way we can make new prestige classes? (3.5ed)
